‘Poison in every puff’ – Canada demands health warnings on every single cigarette

Canada is about to become the first country in the world to require health warnings on individual cigarettes, little cigars and other tobacco products.

The new requirement will be phased in over several months, starting with warnings on king-size cigarettes. Manufacturers will have until 30th April 2024 to adopt the change, while retailers will have until 31st July 2024.
