PMI could re-introduce Iqos into US market after dispute resolution with BAT

British American Tobacco (BAT) has agreed to allow Philip Morris International (PMI) to re-introduce PMI’s Iqos heated tobacco device into the US marketplace.

The agreement is part of a settlement the two companies reached to resolve all patent infringement litigation related to their alternative tobacco products.
