Lower nicotine content levels make tobacco products less addictive.
In the past years, research conducted on combustible tobacco products showed a clear benefit coming from the reduction of nicotine content.
A recent study published by the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) extended this kind of investigation to vapes. The research revealed that, while curbing nicotine levels in e-cigarettes prompted surveyed vapers to increase the frequency and intensity of their puffs – resulting in a possible higher exposure to chemicals through inhalation – less-addictive e-cigarettes would still benefit public health.
