Greek nicotine product flavour ban bill in ‘final stages of internal consultation’

Greece is close to a flavour ban on alternative nicotine products as part of a broader crackdown on under-age access to alcohol and tobacco.

The Greek conservative government has recently drafted a bill to prohibit flavours in these products that are particularly appealing to minors (under-18s), such as chocolate, biscuit and watermelon. The only flavours that would be allowed would be natural tobacco and mint.
