Algeria: heated tobacco and herbal heated product regulation, January 2026

According to law 11-18/2018, tobacco products are defined as products intended to be used for smoking, sniffing, chewing, or sucking – including e-cigarettes – when they are, even partially, made of tobacco.

Despite not being explicitly listed in the definition, heated tobacco can be considered a tobacco product given that it contains tobacco.
