Altria puts most remaining Juul cases behind it with $235m court settlement

US tobacco giant Altria is to pay $235m to settle at least 6,000 state and federal cases related to vaping brand Juul.

The group announced it had reached an agreement to resolve several lawsuits in the Northern District of California, which it said would end most procedures it is still facing in relation to the e-cigarette company, in which it held a 35% stake until a few weeks ago.
