In a victory for Panama’s heated tobacco and vaping industries, the country’s Supreme Court declared a 2022 law unconstitutional that completely banned e-cigarettes as well as heated tobacco and similar devices.
The overturning of the law prohibiting the use, import and sale of vaping and heated tobacco products (HTPs) has created new hope for legality and regulation in the country.
