Big Tobacco ‘moving too slowly’ to fulfil the FSFW’s mission of ending smoking

Tobacco companies are not doing enough to transition to reduced risk products, according to the Foundation for a Smoke-Free World (FSFW).

The organisation, funded by Philip Morris International (PMI), said that at the rate the tobacco industry is going, it will not phase out high-risk products such as conventional cigarettes quickly enough to achieve the foundation’s goal of ending smoking in this generation.
