In Belgium, a heated tobacco product is defined as a novel tobacco product that is heated to produce emissions containing nicotine and other chemicals, which is then inhaled by the user, and which, depending on its properties, is a smokeless tobacco product or tobacco product for smoking. The product is regulated by a number of different laws.
The Ministry of Agriculture has told TobaccoIntelligence that currently, there are no requirements for heated herbal products in the Czech Republic. However, if the product contains nicotine, its sale is regulated by the requirements of the Anti-Smoking Act.
