While most countries regulated vaping long ago, the law in many jurisdictions has been slower to catch up with tobacco-alternative innovations like heated tobacco and modern oral products.
Both are, however, now becoming a focus of regulatory activity across Europe. In this report, we take a look at some of the most recent developments in the regulation of modern oral, both at EU level and in individual countries.
Specifically, we consider possible and likely legislative developments in Russia and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) of Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Estonia, and Italy.
