France is the latest country to ban nicotine pouches.
On 5th September, a decree was published in France’s Official Journal prohibiting the “production, manufacture, transport, import, export, possession, offer, transfer, acquisition and use of products for oral use containing nicotine” in the country. The ban will enter into force on 5th March 2026, six months from the date of publication of the decree.
