Health Canada proposes going bigger and bolder on tobacco health warnings

Health Canada has put forward a plan for new packaging restrictions for tobacco products, including rotating health-related messages, as well as bigger health warnings on heated tobacco.

A consultation on the proposed amendment to the Tobacco Products Regulations (Plain and Standardized Appearance) was opened on Saturday and will last for 75 days.
