JTI to focus energy on the ‘encouraging’ performance of Ploom X in Japan

Japan Tobacco International (JTI) has posted positive figures for the first nine months of the year, with a good performance from its reduced-risk products in the domestic market.

The company said its chief priority for the rest of the year is “to strive to secure share growth” of its heat-not-burn (HnB) device Ploom X in Japan. The device was launched in Japan in July and rolled out across the country in August.
