The year that was 2024 saw the start of an inevitable regulatory pushback against increasing sales of nicotine alternatives.

Multiple countries continued to implement flavour bans on heated tobacco. This was led by European Union member nations, where such actions were really an attempt to catch up and implement long-delayed regulations. This will inevitably continue to have a spillover effect into the rest of the world.
