Nicotine pouch rules single out Redmuule in Italy, but ADM says others may be next

Packaging restrictions introduced by an Italian Ministry of Health decree are intended to apply only to the specific brand of nicotine pouches mentioned in the decree, but similar measures could be implemented for other brands as well, the Customs and Monopolies Agency (ADM) told TobaccoIntelligence.

The sale of pouches in Italy had been suspended since March but was reversed in a November decree that named Redmuule specifically and also included a variety of additional requirements, such as ensuring products are sold in child-resistant packaging.
