No tax increase on Italian HTPs in the next two years, but the rise comes in 2026

There would be no increase in Italian excise duties on heated tobacco products for the next two years under the new 2024 Budget Bill presented to the Senate on 30th October.

However, the proposal, which must still be approved by legislators, sets a rate rise in 2026.
