The European Commission reportedly wants to extend the EU-wide ban on snus to tobacco-free nicotine pouches.
“The ban on tobacco for oral use has been found to be highly successful in improving the internal market and ensuring a high level of health protection, even if some challenges are posed by new products,” reads an excerpt from a Commission report that is said to have been circulated to members of the European Parliament (MEPs).
