Heated tobacco products must follow tobacco regulation in Canada, which provided by the Tobacco and Vaping Products Act, while nicotine pouches are considered a consumer product. This report examines the regulations currently in place for heated tobacco products and snus. It explores all aspects of the regulatory regime, from age and product restrictions, labelling and packaging, to advertising, notification and taxation.
