Regulatory report: Czech Republic – HnB, snus and nicotine pouches, April 2021

Heated tobacco products are regulated in the Czech Republic by the 2016 Act on foodstuffs and tobacco products with subsequent amendments, which transposed the EU’s Tobacco Products Directive (TPD) into the Czech regime. Heated tobacco is largely regulated as a tobacco product, while oral tobacco, including snus, is forbidden, except for chewing tobacco.
