A standard setting up new health warnings and packaging requirements for heated tobacco products in Saudi Arabia was introduced in September 2020. Heated tobacco products are regulated as tobacco products in other aspects such as taxation, public usage or retail restrictions. This report offers a detailed overview of the current regulatory regime for these type of products in Saudi Arabia, covering all areas of law from advertising and labelling to taxation and notification.
