UK introduces generational smoking ban bill and publishes draft disposables ban

The UK’s proposed legislation for a generational ban on tobacco product sales was introduced to Parliament last week.

Under the Tobacco and Vapes Bill, children turning 15 this year or younger – that is, anyone born on or after 1st January 2009 – will never legally be able to be sold tobacco products.
