Excise taxes on cigarettes and tobacco products in Ukraine have been raised by nearly 25%, effective 25th March.
After bill 11090 was signed by president Volodymyr Zelensky on 24th March, the act changing excise taxes on tobacco and related products, approved by the Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian parliament) last December, was published, and entered into force on 25th March.
