In April 2024, the Ministry of Health published a bill for public consultation to ban devices for tobacco heating, heated tobacco consumables, e-cigarettes and e-liquids in the country; no legislative steps have occurred since then.
Herbal heated products are not specifically defined; therefore, they could either be regulated as a consumer product or be categorised as nicotine-containing products or as products that do not contain tobacco and nicotine.
