Vape show reveals mixed feelings on Japan’s market future

Opinions on the future of the Japanese e-cigarette market at the country’s first vape sector tradeshow were mixed, with some optimism expressed despite the continuing ban on nicotine e-liquid and the dramatic success of heated tobacco product in Japan.

Some exhibitors at Vape Expo Japan said they see the country as a potential growth market at an early stage of development. Others believe the restrictions on e-liquid with nicotine will be a hurdle too high to clear, while many remain unsure.
