As Albania aims to become an EU member state, it will have to eventually fully align its tobacco product laws with EU legislation; consequently, we would expect that any revision of the EU tobacco-control framework will also have an impact on Albania’s legal framework. Therefore, in the short and mid-term we expect the country’s laws to mirror existing, and upcoming, EU laws.
This report offers detailed analysis of the regulatory framework in place in Albania for heated tobacco and herbal heated products, covering all policy areas from notification and advertising to product and retail channel restrictions.
