BAT enjoys big rises in revenue from novel categories, led by modern oral

British American Tobacco (BAT) saw revenue from its new products category portfolio rise by 42.4% in 2021 to £2.05bn, driven in part by an increase in sales of its modern oral products.

The London-based manufacturer reported that the volume of its modern oral products increased by 70.5% to 3.3bn pouches for the year, with revenue up by 39% to £274m.
