A Canadian company says Health Canada’s decision to grant it a Drug Establishment Licence (DEL) is another step towards its goal of eventually selling nicotine pouches in Canada – though the department itself has confirmed to TobaccoIntelligence that it does not currently permit them to do so.
David Richmond-Peck, CEO of TJP Labs, said: “We carry a Health Canada drug licence which, we believe, would be a requirement for companies wanting to produce modern oral products in the future.”
