No major changes affecting heated tobacco products (HTPs) in Poland are expected in 2024, other than the likely implementation of the flavour ban established in Commission Delegated Directive (EU) 2022/2100.
Although heating devices are not specifically regulated, they are subject to the same advertising restrictions as tobacco-related products. The government may opt to include heating devices in the Tobacco Act in the future as their use becomes more widespread.
Herbal heated products could also potentially be framed under the scope of the Tobacco Act in the future.
