TobaccoIntelligence predicts a restrictive future for the regulation of tobacco alternative products. Just 8 of the nearly 60 countries and regions tracked by TobaccoIntelligence’s Policy Radar have a positive outlook on the political climate when it comes to alternatives to conventional cigarettes.
Yet despite this, TobaccoIntelligence forecasts growth in both the global nicotine pouch and heated tobacco markets from 2023 to 2024 – meaning that, notwithstanding increased regulation in many markets, there is still enough demand for alternatives to traditional cigarettes to fuel growth.
